Type 3: Closable Multimedia Ticker

Basic Characteristics:

  • Displays text, images and animated images
  • Lines flow in, stop and then disappear downwards
  • There is a pause between the appearance of each line
  • Text and images can be linkable
  • The ticker can be minimized
  • When minimized the ticker disappears entirely
  • Works well with subtitles and on full screen
  • Supports JPG, GIF, PNG and SWF

All of the following parameters of the ticker are easily changeable:

  • The height and color of the ticker background
  • The size, color and format of the text
  • The color of linkable text when moused-over
  • The speed, size, color and format of the text
  • Line and pause duration, ticker start time
